Ultherapy PRIME is the current-generation Ultherapy system. Like earlier Ultherapy, it uses imaging-guided microfocused ultrasound to heat the deep support layers and stimulate new collagen for a gradual non-surgical lift of the brow, under-chin, jawline, and neck, and to improve lines on the décolletage. The real-time ultrasound imaging helps your provider see the tissue layers and place energy at the intended depth.

Ultherapy PRIME can create a gradual, natural-looking lift for mild to moderate laxity beneath the chin, along the jawline, and on the neck. It stimulates new collagen rather than removing skin, so it does not reproduce the degree of change possible with surgery. We assess your anatomy honestly and recommend a surgical opinion when that would better match your goal.

The best candidates have mild to moderate skin laxity and realistic expectations. Ultherapy PRIME is less suited to significant excess or hanging skin, heavy under-chin fat, or prominent vertical neck bands, which often respond better to other treatments or surgery. Yes. Ultherapy is FDA-cleared to lift skin on the neck, under the chin, and on the brow, and to improve lines and wrinkles on the décolletage.

Some lift may be visible early, but the main result develops over 2–3 months as your skin produces new collagen, with continued improvement up to six months. It is a patience treatment rather than an instant change.

Results can last a year or more. Because skin continues to age, some patients choose a maintenance treatment over time. Individual results vary.

Ultherapy PRIME tightens lax tissue; it is not a fat-removal treatment. If under-chin fat is the main concern, Kybella or Agnes RF may be more appropriate.
