Elena Salpas

Elena Salpas, MPA, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Associate specializing in dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish from Northern Arizona University, followed by a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Elena further advanced her expertise by completing the Diplomate Fellowship Program with the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates.

Originally studying ecology in her undergraduate years, Elena sought a more direct, patient-centered role in healthcare. After becoming an EMT and gaining firsthand experience working with patients, she decided to pursue a career as a Physician Associate to apply her scientific background in a clinical setting.

Elena treats a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions in patients of all ages. Her daily practice includes performing biopsies of suspicious lesions, diagnosing and managing skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, providing cosmetic treatments, and educating patients on skin cancer prevention.

A strong advocate for patient education, Elena emphasizes clear communication and thorough counseling during every visit. She strives to ensure her patients fully understand their diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.

Outside of her practice, Elena enjoys outdoor adventures, spending quality time with her dogs, and traveling to explore new destinations.
